Why Tips, Tricks, and Insight Don't Heal
David Lieberman, LMFT
Why do we keep seeking the next book, the next framework, the next piece of advice — and still feel stuck? This session explores the deeper reasons why intellectual understanding alone rarely leads to lasting change, and what actually does.
David Lieberman, LMFT has spent years doing the thing most therapists quietly avoid: asking why so many people leave therapy feeling "better" for a bit, then notice nothing has actually changed. As a licensed marriage and family therapist in Louisville, he specializes in non-traditional relationships and betrayal recovery — the kind of work where tips and tricks flatly don't cut it.
His path to this calling ran through several careers, including real estate and business ventures, which gives him a healthy skepticism toward ostensibly tidy answers to messy human experiences. Influenced by narrative therapy and the experiential tradition of Virginia Satir, he was named runner-up for Most Innovative Clinician in Colorado and Wyoming in 2024, with an 80%+ success rate on some of the hardest relational terrain imaginable. He believes real change lives in the body, the relationship, and the moment — not some "expertly" concocted worksheet.

Financial Literacy (Women Only Event)
Mia Clark
Traditionally, men have handled household finances, leaving many women feeling unprepared or hesitant to engage with financial decisions. This session provides a non-intimidating environment where women can ask questions, gain confidence, and take control of their financial future.
Mia Clark is a financial professional that believes money conversations shouldn't feel intimidating. She strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where couples, families, business partners, and individuals can openly discuss their goals, challenges, and dreams.
She believes it's essential for women to be involved in financial conversations because money touches every part of our lives—our choices, our freedom, and our sense of security. For too long, women have been expected to defer these decisions or learn them only when forced by life transitions. When women understand and engage with their finances early and intentionally, they gain clarity, confidence, and control over their future. Financial literacy isn't about being "good with money"—it's about having a voice, asking questions, and owning the life you're building.

Peace Building Workshop
Cassidy Murphy
As we look forward to the holidays — grandma's pecan pie, opening presents, time with family — we also find ourselves navigating the minefield of differing opinions and political divides. How do we make it through these moments with grace and connection intact? There's no better time to attend a peacebuilding workshop and learn how to bridge the divide.
Cassidy has close to 35 years of experience working with women's and service organizations, with work grounded in creating a positive and uplifting environment for those most vulnerable in our community.
Her career has included serving as a Deputy District Attorney, where she specialized in prosecuting recidivist domestic abusers, and leading peacebuilding work in Rwanda with genocide survivors, perpetrators, rescuers, and others impacted by the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. As General Counsel for Tartoosh, a Native American-owned firm, she also facilitated environmental projects with Native American tribes throughout the U.S.
In her community, Cassidy has been an active member of the Boulder Rotary Club, serving as a board member, trustee for the Boulder Rotary Foundation, and President of the Boulder Rotary Club. She is also a board member for local non-profits including BeadforLife, the YMCA of Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming, and Cellists for Change. Today, she continues her work as an estate planning attorney and nonprofit advisor.
